I am a London based artist working primarily with textiles and printmaking. My process based work explores collecting, interactions with nature, surface design and forms of assemblage as tools for breathing new life into discarded/obsolete objects and underrepresented modes of making/traditions that typically involve the handmade, recycling and supporting sustainably made materials.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors Specialization in Studio Art from the University of Western Ontario and an Art Studies Certificate in Vocational Art from BealArt. More recent art exhibitions and interactions have included In The Round at Graven Feather and Under 30 at 30 at the Japanese Paper Place in Toronto, Ontario, How To Dye In Style for the Centre for Feminist Pedagogy residency at Centre des arts actuels Skol and Fresh Paint/New Construction 2010 at Art Mûr in Montreal, Québec. London based group and two person exhibitions have taken place at The Art Exchange, Artlab, East Village Arts Co-op, Forest City Gallery, The Westland Gallery and various café, library and pop-up gallery venues.
