Indigo Tissue Experiment
This body of work was created for the London District Weavers and Spinners Guild's Fibre Art Festival and Sale 2016 where I will be a guest artist. These mixed media works are made on indigo dyed washi. The papers were dyed during a dyeing day with Meg Cheesman in London, Ontario. Drawing with inks and pigment were further embellished with hand embroidery using hand dyed cotton threads and commercially made threads.
